Why should you consider owning a Fire Bowl Café?
Fire Bowl Café brings a new perspective to Asian Cuisine, where every dish is made fresh according to each customer’s order. We call it “Stir Fry Your Way”. Our high quality ingredients are cooked to perfection with our gourmet Asian flavors, all made using premium herbs and spices imported from the Pacific Rim. Our open exhibition style kitchen is always vibrant and bristling with action. Most importantly, we strive to offer superior service while delivering a great dining value. These factors combine to form a restaurant concept that generates exceptional levels of sales relative to investment. It is a business we believe you will truly be proud to own.

Why should you consider franchising?
More than one-third of all retail sales in the US are generated from franchised businesses. Why? Entrepreneurs often want to start with a proven business model. According to the US Small Business Administration, the top ten franchisors had a loan failure rate that was half as low as small businesses generally.

Why should you franchise a restaurant, and specifically one that serves Asian food?
The restaurant business provides a very basic and ongoing consumer need. Food. According to the National Restaurant Association, the restaurant industry captures over 45% of all food expenditures. Annually, over 70 billion meals were served in 2006, with total sales of $511 billion. Our ethnic food category, Asian, posted the strongest sales growth (13 percent) among both full service and fast food restaurants during 2007.

In a tougher economic environment, why should you look to our segment, Fast Casual, within the restaurant industry?
Fast casual chains serve food at a quality level traditionally associated with sit-down restaurants, but a price and service time traditionally associated with fast food concepts. The category is bucking the trading down trend in restaurants. Buoyed by healthier offerings and a narrowing price gap compared to quick-service restaurants, fast casual chains are seeing a continued sales surge. Two research reports show sales in the segment shot up more than 13% last year. Why is our sector thriving in a so-so economy? Partially, it's because of demographics. Fast casual benefits from having a younger consumer base that has more discretionary income. At the same time, it attracts a more affluent audience. 'There is at least equal or greater likelihood of use among higher income household adults' according to a senior research analyst at Mintel, a restaurant consulting firm. The category is stealing baby boomers from their fast food rivals, said Jeff Davis, president of Sandelman & Associates, Villa Park, Calif. 'As baby boomers age, they still like that fast food occasion, but they also want a slightly better experience, and so, marketers are exploiting that niche.'

What types of tools should a restaurant franchisor deliver to its franchisees?
Of course any restaurant concept in today’s competitive marketplace should deliver a menu that features authentic gourmet flavors using fresh high quality ingredients. But franchisees must also have access to the operational systems, checks and balances necessary to produce this high level of quality on a consistent basis. Employees need to have effective incentives in place that encourage them to behave like owners. Managers must understand how to staff restaurants to optimize profitability without sacrificing service levels. And owners will want to leverage the latest technology to frequently monitor important data such as daily sales, labor costs, food costs, customer satisfaction surveys, etc. Our management team has developed the tools essential to success in the restaurant business, and is committed to supporting its franchisees.
